Lowe's Toolbox for Education Grant
Apply for $2,000 - $5,000 to use on helping your parent-teacher group achieve even more for your school. Funding requests should have a permanent impact, such as facility enhancement (both indoor and outdoor) or landscaping/clean up type projects. Projects that encourage parent involvement and build stronger community spirit will be favored.

NEA Foundation Student Achievement Grant
The NEA Foundation provides $5,000 grants to improve the academic achievement of students in any subject area. The proposed work should engage students in critical thinking and problem solving. Proposals for work resulting in low-income and minority student success are encouraged.

NEA Foundation Learning and Leadership Grant
This grant funds high-quality professional development experiences for educators, or provides grants to groups fund collegial study, including study groups, action research, lesson study, or mentoring experiences.

NEA Foundation-Nickelodeon Big Help Grants
The Big Help Grants program is dedicated to addressing four key concerns – environmental awareness, health and wellness, students’ right to a quality public education, and active community involvement. The grants target these four concerns as areas of great promise in helping develop a sense of global awareness in 21st century students that will encourage and enable them to make a difference in their world.

Aquatic Resources Education Grant Program
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources provides this grant of up to $2,000 per school year for K-12 education projects to teach students about Maryland’s aquatic resources.
