MSEA can help

In the workplace

A recent survey of Maryland’s teachers and principals showed that most are pretty happy with their teaching and learning environments. Given Maryland’s status as the #1 school system in the nation, perhaps that’s not surprising.

Yet, with public schools facing budget cuts, No Child Left Behind, state testing mandates, and intense pressure to address the needs of an increasingly diverse and challenging student population, front line educators need all of the help they can get.

Being part of MSEA means you have the support from colleagues and trained association staff, whether you’re a new teacher learning to manage your classroom, staff charged with maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment in your school, or any school employee feeling the stress of your job.
