In order for us to have a strong presence in our field it is essential to enable women to move from passive membership into leadership roles. In order to do this, we will provide a leadership roadmap that will educate members on the various roles that play a part in the leadership of our organization.
Session 1: Women in Leadership Past and Present
- The participant will learn that ordinary women have led in society, union organizations, and other leadership roles.
Session 2: Women Leading in Their Union

Session 3: Women Leading in Politics (Federal, State, and County)
- The participant will understand the process through which a political candidate can be elected into office.
