Based on the NEA C.A.R.E. Curriculum and broken down into three separate workshops, C.A.R.E. strategies prepare educators to implement research-based approaches that maximize the value that diverse groups of students bring with them to school.

Part 2 deals with the maximizing the broad range of student abilities and fostering student resilience. Participants will examine their own practice and apply new strategies for developing student abilities and resilience in their own work.

This workshop is free to MSEA members and will allow the participants to earn one MSDE Continuing Professional Development Credit.

Where: Virtual. Participants will use MSEA’s Professional Learning Portal to attend live, virtual sessions and to complete asynchronous assignments. Registration links for the Professional Learning Portal will be sent to registrants prior to the first session.

When: February 17 from 5-8 p.m. and February 18 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Please note: The C.A.R.E. series has three parts. Parts 1 and 2 must be completed prior to registering for Part 3.
