The MSEA Minority Affairs Committee is pleased to announce this year’s annual Minority Leadership Training.
Participants are required to attend the entire Friday evening and full-day Saturday training. There is no registration fee for members for this event. Meals will include dinner on Friday, continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and all training materials. Participants are responsible for their own transportation.
MLT registrants must select from two different tracks on Saturday. See agenda overview below.

Being a Leader and Running for Office:
Join us to begin understanding and developing your personal leadership style. Once your journey has begun learn practicable, step-by-step intelligence on putting together a winning election campaign so you can run for office.
This year we will focus on emerging leaders with an eye to deliver an advanced training next year.
ELL Culture & Equity with Optimal Learning Environment Conditions: — Exploring the impact of shifting demographics, examine common cultural assumptions and their relationship to educational equity, and promote culturally relevant instruction. Participants will learn to create the optimal school and classroom environments to help ELLs meet the complex cognitive demands of academic English instruction.
Space is limited and MLT programs always fill up.
