Saturday, 12/1/18 - Select Your Session
Presence – Showing Up
Many say, the first step is to show up and they are right. Let MSEA’s Minority Leadership Training guide you to what’s next. Join this session to explore your personal leadership style, what it means to be a union member while learning the skills needed to be a leader in the association.
Power – Leadership With A Purpose: — Representation is one of the first steps but building institutional power so we can lead on racial and social justice issues will have the biggest impact in the long run. Join this track to learn about the potential of Minority Affairs Committees, and what they can accomplish when they are built for power. You will hear from locals who are doing this successfully right now in MD and leave with next steps to effect change in your local.
Space is limited and MLT programs always fill up.
